Denny Landers is the President of Kodiak Capital Advisors which was formed in 2016. He has over thirty-eight (38) years of commercial real estate investment and management experience.
Prior to the forming of Kodiak Capital Advisors, LLC, Mr. Landers founded Kodiak Capital Partners, LLC in 2004. This company's core business syndicating 1031 Tenant In Common (TIC) investments through registered Broker Dealers throughout the US. Kodiak also provided comprehensive and professional property and asset management services to the TIC co owners. The Company acquired $160 Million of commercial properties in multiple states and markets throughout the US raising in excess of $60 Million in 1031 Exchange equity. The primary property types were multi tenant office buildings, office flex and single tenant NNN leased office/warehouse/distribution buildings.
Landers was the Chief Operating Officer of Performance Properties Corporation, a Dallas owner and operator of multi family, student housing and multi tenant office buildings. His company managed and leased over 30,000 apartments and student housing units during a sixteen (16) period of time. Performance Properties also completed several hundred apartment/condo conversions in 1980s. He was also instrumental in the acquisition of over $250 Million of apartment and student housing properties. Mr. Landers left Performance Properties Corporation in 1994 after 16 years and founded Gaedeke Landers, LLC, Dallas based real estate investment and management company. Mr. Landers began efforts in 1994 to acquire, manage and lease multi tenant office and apartment properties in the Sun Belt regions of the US. As President, he ran the Dallas headquartered company and was responsible for the day to day management and operations of the company. The Company also developed in 2002 a 300,000 square foot office building in Nashville, Tennessee.
During Mr. Landers tenure at Performance Properties Corporation and Gaedeke Landers, he directed the acquisition of over $850,000,000 of office, apartment, and student housing properties in 7 states and 21 major markets in the United States. The majority of these acquisitions were purchased from the RTC, FDIC, Pension Funds, Insurance Companies, Institutional Funds, Banks and Savings and Loan companies. These properties comprised 75 office projects of over 6 million square feet and 15,000 units of apartments and student housing properties. The major clients of Performance Properties Corporation and Gaedeke Landers were high net worth individuals and family offices in Europe, Canada and the US as well as US Pension Funds and European Bank Institutions.
Mr. Landers holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Oregon State University.
